Llewellyn Boddie

Llewellyn Boddie, or Lou as most people know him, is the Radiotherapy Technical Services Manager for Healthcare Partners LTD. Lous started this role in October 2020, and before that worked in the Linear Accelerator (Linac) engineering field within the NHS for over 30 years. Lou has had a very long and enjoyable career working in London and was employed at Guy’s and St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust for 21 years and at St Bartholomew’s for 11 years. Lou left the NHS to start a new career in management and hasn’t looked back since. 

Lou manages a dedicated team of nine skilled engineers, whose primary focus is supporting the Radiotherapy Department at Royal Surrey County Hospital in Guildford. Combining his technical knowledge of Linac maintenance and new career in management has presented many exciting opportunities and challenges. 

Lou’s favourite quote to describe working in the industry is “No two consecutive days are ever the same”.
