Joanne Doherty

Jo Doherty joined Healthcare Partners Ltd in December 2020 as Head of Clinical Assurance and Quality (becoming Director of Clinical Assurance and Quality in December 2023). Jo brings with her a wealth of experience working within both the Health and Social Care sectors in senior management roles responsible for quality, compliance and clinical governance.  

Jo has worked as a registered nurse and midwife — starting her career in the NHS and then as a nursing officer in the British Army before moving into the private sector.  Her most recent role was at Prestige Nursing + Care as Head of Care.  

In her spare time, Jo is passionate about travelling around the world and is always looking for the next new exciting adventure. She enjoys reading, hiking and Pilates.
