Christopher Kane

Chris is the nominated director of Ashford & St Peter’s Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust on the Board of Healthcare Partners, bringing the perspective of the Trust as a shareholder. An author, advisor and advocate with over 30 years’ experience in the Corporate Real Estate sector, he served as Vice President of International Corporate Real Estate for The Walt Disney Company, before acting as Head of Workplace at the BBC, where he was responsible for the creation of MediaCityUK in Salford, the redevelopment of Television Centre and oversaw the £1bn development of Broadcasting House. At the BBC he also managed the corporation’s property partnership with Land Securities Trillium — a joint venture spanning development and facilities management across some 65 buildings and the transfer of around 300 staff — and subsequently led its termination in 2005, restructuring the BBC’s property and facilities arrangements. This breadth — estates strategy, facilities management and the structuring, management and exit of major outsourcing partnerships — aligns directly with Healthcare Partners’ work across healthcare estates, FM and managed services.
