Clinical Assurance and Quality Improvement are key parts of HPL’s strategy and delivery. We have developed and started to action high level goals with a focus on practical delivery in the year ahead.
The patient ‘first’ in everything we do. Our job is to ensure that clinical staff have the right tools, equipment, products and services to provide excellent patient care.
Subsidiaries across the NHS have a focus on driving efficiencies and operational performance. HPL is no different except we strongly believe there is a critical step before this in providing Clinical Quality and Assurance.
We do this through an integrated system of governance which is CQC and MHRA compliant. Furthermore, all our services have ISO 9001 and we use proactive systems of Risk Management and Board Assurance. At a practical level we use Datix to record any incidents so they are transparent in HPL and the Royal Surrey with a formal reporting and review system to learn lessons and continuously improve.
